Made With Love..Given with Prayers

image

The guys received homemade winter hats from Gatesville Baptist Chruch for Christmas. Each hat was hand made one for each of our guys and blessed by the pastor of the church and the congregation. We appreciate the hats to keep each resident warm but we are more grateful for the prayers and thoughts that went into making each and everyone! Thank you Gatesville Baptist Church!

They stayed over night and after the games were completed there was an award ceremony as well as dinner and a dance. Our guys took 4th place as they played their hardest again the other teams. Wounded Warrior Project

image

While at the beach several of the residents took a marsh crusie sponsored by the Wonded Warrior Project. They rode on a ferry boat through Hammocks Beach State Park to learn a little about the history of the park, see wildlife such as dolphins, eagles, egrets, and osprey, and enjoyed cruising along in the marsh. The Wounded Warrior Project is a nonprofit organization that honors and empowers wounded warriors through various programs and services. Everyone that went on this trip had a great time!
