Mercer Men Welcome New Housemate
The long awaited arrival of the new resident for Mercer Home is finally over. On Friday 3 February 2012, the men from Mercer welcomed Tommy to their home. Tommy is not new to Sanford or the men from Mercer. He is familiar with the residents from his employment with LCI. Prior to moving to the Mercer Home, Tommy resided with his sister and had spent some time with the residents at Mercer to determine if he would be interested in the living arrangements. He enjoyed his weekend with the guys, and the Mercer men enjoyed having him, so much so, that he is now a permanent “fixture” with Mercer Home. Tommy will continue to work at LCI daily and he will learn independent life skills at the home, such as laundry, cooking, and maintaining a clean bedroom. Welcome to your new home Tommy!!!
