“A Southern Christmas”
The Lanier women are certainly staying quite busy during this holiday season. On Thursday, 8 December 2011, they, along with travel companions from The Enrichment Center in Sanford, traveled by chartered bus to Selma, NC where they saw the presentation by the American Music Jubilee of “A Southern Christmas.” It was a nostalgic trip back in time when the anticipation of Santa Claus made the holidays a magical time for people of all ages. It was two hours filled with the sounds of Christmas music from the past to the present, with a few surprises. After the show they traveled to Meadow Village Restaurant for a delicious dinner buffet, and then toured the Meadow Lights display. One thing we can say about these women, they are not going to let the holidays pass them by without experiencing all they can this joyous season!!!
