Davis House visits Stegall for fishing and fun
Davis House residents spent a fun day visiting Stegall Home, another DDM home of Baptist Children’s Homes in Marshville, North Carolina. Stegall also had invited Mercer Home, another male home of DDM located in Sanford, NC. All the residents were thrilled with a well prepared meal of hot dogs, hamburgers, potato salad, baked beans, and speciality desserts. After lunch, everyone went to the pond to fish and almost every person caught a fish. Smiles were had by all and it was a special day of fellowship, even braving the lingering rain and chilly wind. Plans have been made to alternate sites throughout the state and have each home sponsor the others one at a time.
