making Melody
“Hidden talent” has been discovered at the Alverta bolick Home. This week I collected instruments: tamborine, egg shaker, drum, guitar and asked each of the residents to pick one and began to play. We have been been playing music all week, when they get home from school they ask if we can “worship God”, Rob said, “when I am feeling down and worship it lifts my spirit.” We have begun to make new songs and enjoy spending time together in praise and song. We have called this house: a place of worship and prayer. I have seen a difference this week in the residents because they are learning to worship and to let God carry their burdens.
