The ladies at the Asheboro Home participated in the Basketball Tournament State Games of Special Olympics on March 3, 2012. The Basketball Tournament was held at East Mecklenburg High School. Each lady received a Bronze Medal for a job well done. The ladies are excited about competing in the Bowling and Swimming Competions.
The ladies at the Asheboro Home enjoy participating in art classes at the Randolph Arts Guild. So far, the ladies have painted a picture of a tree in the snow, and in February, the ladies made Valentine’s Day cards, and then in March, the ladies have made art designs out of clay and they plan to place a Bible verse or a special quote on the design during their next class in April.

June, brought not only hot weather, but the Asheboro Home hosted their annual family cookout. Friends and family came to enjoy good food, family and fellowship.
